We all sin…no one is perfect. Sin separates us from God, but He has provided a way to remove our sins. This is His plan…from His Word…not the plan of a man, council, manual, or anything else on this earth. This is God’s plan to redeem mankind:
BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the Son of God
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins. John 8:24
…these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name. John 20:31
Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” Acts 8:37
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6
REPENT of your sins
...unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Luke 13:3
Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19
Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent. Acts 17:30
For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. 2 Corinthians 7:10
CONFESS that Jesus Christ is the Son of God
Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. Matthew 10:32
Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God. Luke 12:8
Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” Acts 8:37
…if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10
BE BAPTIZED for the remission of your sins
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:16
This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”
Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”
Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ ” John 3:2-7
Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38
And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord. Acts 22:16
Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Romans 6:3-4
For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Galatians 3:27
There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 3:21
